The Horrorsmith Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals who have been overlooked, underserved, or marginalized within our communities. Our mission is to enhance stability, restore dignity, and promote long-term wellbeing among populations who have slipped through the cracks of traditional support systems—particularly homeless veterans and vulnerable families. The Horrorsmith Foundation pursues this mission by providing access to essential resources, offering pathways to meaningful employment, and fostering supportive environments in which individuals can rebuild their lives. Through care-kit distribution, emergency assistance programs, and collaborative partnerships with shelters, chaplains, and community organizations, we strive to meet people where they are and equip them with the respect, compassion, and practical tools necessary for recovery and growth.

In establishing The Horrorsmith Foundation, we evaluated the charitable practices of companies across industries and found that most large corporations donate approximately 1% of their annual profits to local causes, while small businesses generally contribute around 3%. Although our organization is in its early stages, our philanthropic goals significantly exceed these norms. It is the formal commitment of The Horrorsmith Foundation that 30% of all profits generated—after the deduction of shipping costs—will be allocated directly to our charitable initiatives. This pledge reflects our conviction that growth and generosity must advance together.

As the philanthropic arm of Horrorsmith Publishing and The Buried Secrets Co., the Foundation is committed to developing long-term, sustainable solutions that address systemic challenges affecting homeless veterans and at-risk populations. Our five-year plan designates 20% of organizational profits for the development of a tiny-home transitional community. This initiative aims to provide safe housing, reliable transportation to essential services, and employment opportunities within our production and printing facilities, thereby supporting residents in achieving renewed independence. An additional 5% of all profits will be distributed quarterly to designated women’s shelters across the United States to support individuals facing domestic violence, housing insecurity, and other crises.

Short-term objectives include dedicating 5% of profits to the creation and distribution of comprehensive care-kits for individuals experiencing homelessness in our local communities. These kits will contain nonperishable food items, toiletries, gift cards, weather-appropriate supplies, socks, and related necessities. Specialized kits will also be prepared for women and children, including sanitary products, hygiene items, body sprays, stuffed animals, and coloring books and crayons. As resources allow, the program will expand to include distribution of tents, sleeping bags, and additional forms of immediate support.

By reinvesting a substantial portion of our organizational earnings into housing efforts, mental-health support, community outreach, and accessible creative opportunities, The Horrorsmith Foundation seeks to demonstrate that even where darkness lives, hope follows. Our guiding principle is that every person—and every story—deserves the chance to rise.
