The Horrorsmith Foundation was just announced last week, and we really didn't expect to find a family who needed our support so quickly. But here we are. And we need your help!
💛 Help Us Bring Hope to a Family Starting Over this Christmas 💛
A brave mother—a first responder who has had to take part-time hours during this transition—and her three daughters recently escaped a domestic violence situation just this past month. They’re starting over from scratch—no decorations, no gifts, no sense of holiday magic. But together, we can change that. 🎄✨
It's the goal of The Horrorsmith Foundation to provide the three girls—ages 13, 9, and 7—with Christmas presents, similar to Angel Tree, as well as something for the mother to know she has not been forgotten. We are also committed to providing their little family with a grocery/Walmart gift card to resolve any short-term food insecurities, a gift card for a local gas station to help the mother get to and from work, a gift card to Bath and Body Works for momma, a gift card to a local movie theater, and gift cards to a couple of local restaurants/DoorDash because the momma absolutely deserves to be able to order in when the big emotions become too overwhelming or take her sweet babies out for a treat every now and then, just to take their minds off of everything.
Girl, Age 13 - Plays clarinet and guitar. Her favorite color is green, and she loves anything to do with WWII history. She loves makeup and skincare, but she's also very outdoorsy, loves cool rocks. and is all about protecting the Earth and wildlife. She wears a women's size 16 in jeans, XL bottoms, and L tops.
Girl, Age 9/Almost 10 - Loves green and daisies. She loves to paint and enjoys playing with makeup and skincare, like her older sister. She prefers quiet time and activities she can do by herself. Her favorite animals are seals, and she hopes to be a marine biologist some day. She wears a girls 14/16 in tops and bottoms.
Girl, Age 7 - Loves necklaces and bracelets, hair accessories. Her favorite color is pink, and she loves mermaids. She still loves baby dolls and Barbies, plus plays dress-up in princess outfits. She wears a girls size 7/8 in tops and bottoms.
As we gear up to make our own purchases for the girls, we will post an Amazon shopping list and will be sharing it to help reduce duplicate items. Be sure to tune in to our TikTok channel, @horrorsmithhorror, where we'll be posting videos of our shopping progress!
We will be sending all items to the mother, along with wrapping paper, gift tags, tape, and scissors no later than December 20.
