Horrorsmith Publishing was established in 2022 to focus on and uplift unknown indie voices via our Fear Forge Anthology. But somewhere along the way, our dreams look on a life of their own. In 2024, this inspiration led us to begin publishing novels, and the rest is history. It remains our main imprint and dearest to our hearts.
Yes, we are currently open to novel subscriptions. We are accepting all horror tropes and sub-genres except for, extreme horror. Manuscripts should not contain gratuitous sex or gore outside of story relevance.
All manuscripts should be 40,000 words (novella) or more (full-length novel). We will consider reprints on a case-by-case basis and do accept simultaneous submissions. Manuscripts do not have to be professionally edited prior to submittal.
Authors should submit the first three chapters of their manuscripts along with a full synopsis and an author query. Submissions should be sent to lsmith@horrorsmithpublishing.com. Include imprint and title in the subject line.
