New Author Signing - Nicole Wolverton!

Horrorsmith Publishing is proud to announce the signing of a new author to our Teen Forge YA dark fiction imprint!
Nicole Wolverton is joining the Horrorsmith family with her novel Meat Sweats, which is set to release in Fall 2026.
Strict vegetarian Violet Nespoli knows how she'll be spending the summer before her senior year of high school: clearing out the house her elderly neighbor and fellow vegetarian, Miss Putterbaugh, left Violet when she died, assisted by Violet's best friend, Nylah.
But when Violet eats the last slice of Miss Putterbaugh's special almond rum, it's more than just botulism that has Violet feeling funky—she develops a near uncontrollable craving for raw meat.
For the good of everyone she loves, Violet must discover Miss Putterbaugh's meaty secrets and discover a cure before she loses control...again.
Nicole M. Wolverton is a fear enthusiast and Pushcart-nominated writer of 50-plus works of short fiction and creative nonfiction, as well as two novels—A Misfortune of Lake Monsters (CamCat Books, 2024) and The Trajectory of Dreams (Bitingduck Press, 2013). She also served as editor of the 2021 anthology Bodies Full of Burning, the first-ever short fiction anthology which centers horror through the lens of menopause (Sliced Up Press). She lives in the Philadelphia area, where she earned a masters in horror and storytelling from the University of Pennsylvania.
