R A Currie
Ruaridh Currie, a creative director and aspiring writer from Edinburgh, Scotland, has a lifelong passion for rock and metal music. In 2015, he co-founded Rockifi.com, a platform for metalheads, launching with punk rock icon and former Ramones drummer Richie Ramone as its first brand ambassador.
Recently, Ruaridh has played a key role at The Improve the News Foundation, collaborating with AI researcher and bestselling author Max Tegmark.
Drawing on his experience in the cutthroat music industry and cutting-edge technology, Ruaridh found inspiration for his debut novel, The Monarchs of London.
After five years in Barcelona, Ruaridh returned to the Scottish coast. He now lives in North Berwick with his wife, Feli, and their Romanian rescue dog, Zapi.
Outside his creative pursuits, Ruaridh is an avid reader, dedicated gig-goer (the louder, the better), and passionate horror movie fan.
