C.S. Magnuson is an author of horror and gothic fiction as well as a screenwriter and producer of product films for industrial machinery you didn’t know and didn’t want to know existed. Although she’s lived in half a dozen US states as well as England and South Africa, she spent most of her childhood in the mountains of Southern California. There, a short drive from Disneyworld and Hollywood, she grew up among pine trees and lakes in a town with one traffic light. She lives in Kansas City now with her husband, two children, and three ill-mannered dogs, but those isolated hills of her youth are still her greatest inspiration and she escapes to the nearest set of wooded slopes and peaks as often as she can.
